‘Puzzling’

Producer and turntablist B-Ju already turned heads with some tracks on Dirtybird. In ‘Celebro’ the title track of his debut EP for No Brainer Records, he’s skillfully melting down genre barriers between House, Hip Hop and Breaks. Hear him flip the middle finger to a mainstream record industry full of self pity and creating a party anthem for those who are in the game for the love of it and of course a little spending money.

Dikembe’ is clearly BassHouse or HouseBass or something in-between following the tradition of Africa and the likes. Everybody can and should play this cause this is what keeps your dad, your mum and your sister moving. Works on some primal level or something. I’ll tell you when i completely figured it out.

The third of the amazing originals ‘Say What’ bathed in Detroit techno just to be nothing like that. After you absorbed this in early morning hours your eyes will be red, but you’ll see that B-Ju champions an iMax wide array of grooves which he melts and compresses into gems as expensive as 99 cents at iTunes.

On the remix side of things the sensational Nt89 (Fool’s Gold) proves that he can undoubtably be in the house. Even more when everybody else moves into his home territory techno. Physical meltdown alert.

Nat Self (Jackmode) gives the romantic bro. Irresistibly groove-driven and at the same time deep as where those incredibly big crabs live. But much more romantic then this metaphor would make you think.

Up and coming Roma (Bebup Records) from France delivers a spaced out slice of a likely and likable future. Liquid insanity dropping from my nose. Can someone please invent a new dance for all of this and more.

‘Don’t hate niggaz. Celebrate niggaz’
